Ignorance of What the Church is or it's Purpose

When you are ignorant of what the church is and its purpose, then you will resort to silly gimmicks, slogans and clown tactics to get attention to promote a ministry. Here’s an example of a “church” and some pastor, claiming that something is wrong with the church, and that the church “sucks” or is boring, mean, judgmental, etc. Wow, American Christianity at it again. The American Church: Fat, Rich, Content and now, Niche Marketers

------Just when you think the church can't get any lower, it manages to scrape the bottom just a wee bit more. The church in the United States is so affluent and complacent, that it will even waste time trying to capture "white people" to come through the doors of a church. Ummm... I didn't know that Wall Street demographic tools grew a church, I thought that the bible said: "and the LORD added to the church ...(Acts 2:47).
