Husbands And Wives Are To Love Even in Difficult Times

One of the big myths as Christians is that: life is to be merry and feel good all of the time just because we are believers however, nothing could be further from the truth. The Christian life is to be a process of growth that at times is very difficult and that includes our marriages. As followers of Christ we must "endure hardship like a good soldier" (2 Tim. 2:3),and the life of matrimony is at times a hardship just like other areas of our life. But if we are to be light to a world of darkness, then we as the church, must carry the model of Christ and His bride and commit our lives to the goal of His glory for all to see. Hollywood Disqualifies Faith Based Song From Academy Award Nomination

Hollywood hates Christianity and Jesus Christ. In fact more than 2000 years ago Christ stated:"If the world hates you, you know that it hated me before it hated you." So it should surprise no one that if a movie has any form of connection with the Christian faith, it is either ostracized, mocked or rejected by the cultural elite. I believe we will soon see the rise of more hate and persecution of authentic believers who take a stand for the gospel.

Proper biblical worship and what it means.

A lot of the worship in the modern church is basically man-centered. That is, it is centered around what people like or what is comfortable or what sounds and feels good to other human beings. Even the preaching is centered around what the parishoners like and what soothes their needs. However as Conrad Mbewe explains, worship is about God and God alone. The Fall of Modern Youth Ministry

The basic premise of getting young people in a ministry is to get a bunch of kids in the church with the lure of stuff to do and music to listen to and you have a "youth ministry". Here is a video that shows how that has failed in the modern church today.
