"Wherever we find the Word of God surely preached and heard, and the sacraments administered, according to the institution of Christ, there, it is not to be doubted, indeed a church of God.”
- John Calvin
Our move into salvation is a puzzle to some and how it happens should be a desire for all who are saved to find out. It’s important as Christians to understand what God’s saving grace is all about and how it is applied to us as His people. God brings us into His family but how does this happen? Why does He move to save human beings from their condition of sinners to saints? What does it involve? The Doctrines Of Grace help us navigate into understanding God’s love for His people and it’s significance to our daily lives as followers of Christ. As we bring into clarity God’s salvation plan through His word, we develop an understanding of who we are, why we are here and where we are going. In knowing this we see the beauty of God’s favor toward His people and the bounty of His unlimited love. Come join us this summer starting on the first Sunday in June as we journey into the word of God and learn about God's amazing grace.
Below our broadcast of Bringing the Word! In this broadcast we discuss what are the Doctrines of Grace and what we in an overall sense believe about them! Take a listed and be sure to give us your feedback! THANKS!
Our view of the sin of someone else is often different our own sin. This means we have a distorted view of sin and what it means. This video shows how individuals see grace for themselves and only themselves.
Here Pastor Paul L. Starks spends a brief moment explaining what is an ESSENTIAL vs what is a Non-Essential of the Christian faith. To put it in short, What must you believe to be considered a Christian? What is not necessary to believed yet still be a Christian? Do you have to be baptised? Do you have to Speak in Tongues? Do you have to perform miracles? Must you be rich? Must you believe in a Trinity? Must you believe that Jesus is God? Must you believe that God created Jesus? What eschatology must you believe in?
What must you believe and still be called Christian?
