May 21, 2011 An End of the World date For A False Prophet on the Loose

Harold Camping is a false prophet (one who has made a prophetic prediction and it did not come to pass) charlatan, and con-man, that has been very successful at "false prophesying" on a few occasions. If I'm not mistaken, he has conned people about the end of the world before, by making other "end of the world" predictions and they've turned out be wrong of course. But there are always eager participants willing to be led astray and follow foolishness. The truth is that we should be warning people everyday that Christ could return on any day and that the day you hear the gospel you should not "harden your heart" but instead believe the gospel and be saved. It is amazing how people will believe everything but the truth. "I am the way the TRUTH and the life..." these are the words of Christ. Let us follow Him rather than Mr. Camping who is "neither a prophet nor the son of a prophet"-He that has ears to hear let him hear.

One of the great ones is at his true home in glory!

One of the masters of preaching has died: the great David Wilkerson. Such power and fervency was in his preaching; and this is a trade that few have -but he was blessed with it. He was among the men that were able to deliver God' word with such strength that it made you tremble as you listened . He will definitely be missed. So in his memory I wanted to post a clip and let you hear a man who spoke with authority and without fear. Absent from the body present with the Lord! Well done Brother Wilkerson enjoy your rewards.

Move Along Nothing Here to See Just Another Pastor Claiming Universalism

The old heresy of universalism is alive and well. Rob Bell is just another leader who has jumped on the bandwagon of the historical heretical teaching called universalism. Claiming to have "investigated scripture" and located something about God that no one else has, Bell has come to the conclusion-or should I say error- that no one will go to hell in the end when it's all said and done. This belief comes about because of a skewed worldview when reading and learning scripture. Whenever individuals have a anthro-centered (man-centered) worldview instead of a Theo-centered (God centered) worldview you always end up thinking God is building His existence and programs around human beings. Therefore the next natural step is the false doctrine of universalism.

A Very Clear Definition of The Gospel at LAST!!!!

I met and talked with professor Michael Horton a while back at a conference and he was really an interesting speaker- and now I see why. He has a way of making things rather clear in his presentations. In this video he gives a great definition of the gospel that I think a lot of people in the modern church need to hear. The preaching of the gospel is at an all time low in our day and age and unfortunately the church today seems content with having it that way. Unless we wake up to a clear and basic way of presenting this message, our evangelism of this society will suffer greatly and the glorification of Christ and His office will be minimized.

Lutheran Church (ELCA) is Now Officially Apostate

This is what happens to a church when it completely abandons all scriptural authority and "leans to it's own understanding". When a church wants to be academic and politically correct rather than biblical and Christ-centered, it turns to rationalizing sin. And when it begins rationalizing sin it has nowhere else to go but down.

Christians Forgotten About by American Politicians

Seems like the President of the United States has forgotten about Christians in Egypt that are being persecuted at a level unheard of. In the midst of the chaos and nonsense that is going on in Egypt, believers in Jesus Christ are being left out of the mix and our government seems to be working to appease a mob that will attempt to wipe out the current government and along with that, all of the body of Christ that is represented in that part of the world. Let us pray for our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ as they war against the enemy that is seeking to destroy them and their presence. Let us also pray that our leaders wake up to see the plight of the Church of Christ that holds the only message that will rescue human beings: The Gospel.

Plenty of Things to Pray For So Get Busy

The church in America has a great duty to do; and that is to begin praying for the movement of the gospel around the world. As the enemy is moving to stop it, we must employ the supernatural weaponry to advance the kingdom of God. The greatest weapon we have is prayer.

A Way to Share The Gospel With Others

When you share your faith you want to share it right. Right? Well if you want to know what is needed to be known about The Gospel, I think John Piper does a fine job of explaining it (the gospel that is) in the video above. So now that we have the tools- give it a shot and start spreading the news!!!(the Good News that is) Enjoy.

Wanna get a lot of people for your church?

Here is an interesting video courtesy of Bro. and Sis. Manalastas, members of our church, that shows how and why a church may grow. Too often pastors are so afraid to preach the gospel, in fear of losing the goats, they will say and do anything, which leads to starving the sheep.

PRAYER the greatest tool in the Christian life

Guess what? Most Christians have horrible prayer lives. And unfortunately I must say, my prayer life needs a lot of improvement. Often people say prayers, but they do not engage in praying. Well I have to warn you, I have to say something that is hard and unfortunately sad to say, but many Christians don't even know HOW to pray. Until prayer is emphasized in a believers life, most will live defeated and powerless lives; carried out in pain and frustration. However there is hope! Here I have an interesting link on HOW TO PRAY. So you can read, learn and use the most vital and powerful weapon for all Christians. See, there is always hope in prayer because God is always listening.
