Reading of Scripture is done so poorly by many in our churches ( including me sometimes) and it is a shame- because it is the WORD OF GOD! That means great care and consideration should be given. As one reads out loud, a level of passion should be put into the pages of scripture as it is publicly read for worship. We tend to invest a lot of time and energy into music, productions, the lighting and aesthetics of the building but how much time is given to the practice and patience of reading scripture?
